Sara Holiday, with FitbySara, has great 2nd & 3rd trimester prenatal yoga workout videos. They are called Sara Holiday's Prenatal Yoga series. I received her videos during the very end of my 3rd trimester and tried them out a couple of weeks before delivery.Okay, I get a little crazy with the high intensity Taebo workouts, but my last two weeks, I really slowed down. I was having alot of hip pain and could barely walk at times with something called Pubic Symphysis Diastasis. Sara's dvd came at the right time, because her yoga workout at the beach was a welcome change for me. I needed something that was a a little easier and gentler on my sore frame. In my 38th week, my doctor told me to take it easy, and recommended that I do Yoga instead. I've never been a big fan of yoga, but let me tell you, it really helped me push through the soreness and get a workout.
Sara Holliday's Prenatal Yoga series are useful for increased muslce tone and strength and decreased stress and muscle tension. Exercises such as these are guaranteed to reduce the amount of labor pain you experience, and I can attest that with all the work I did (not all with this dvd, but working out like a fiend in general) I was able to make it to a 6 without killing my husband. Last time I only made it to a 3.
I'd recommend Sara's Prenatal Yoga series to any pregnant mom who is interested in staying in shape and haivng a fit pregnancy.
